The Plain Statement

Eldiar Furniture earns commission on some outbound links to third-party gambling operators. When a reader clicks certain links on this site and subsequently opens an account or places a bet with an operator, the desk may receive a payment — typically a revenue-share percentage or a flat referral fee. This is how the desk is funded. It is a standard commercial model in independent media covering this vertical, and we have no interest in hiding it.

This disclosure exists so that you know the financial shape of the site before you read a piece. If you would prefer to read the analysis without that context in the back of your mind, the honest answer is that you cannot fully separate the two — and we would rather you knew that than pretended otherwise.

What Commission Does Not Buy

This is the part that matters more than the disclosure itself. Commission buys a commercial link. It does not buy any of the following:

  • A better rating. We do not rate operators on a numerical scale, but where we characterize an operator’s strategy, licensing, or design choices, that characterization is not for sale. An operator that pays us commission can still be described accurately — including unflatteringly.
  • Inclusion in coverage. An operator does not have to have a commercial relationship with us to appear in our analysis. Conversely, a commercial relationship does not guarantee that an operator will appear. We cover operators because they are analytically relevant to a story about regional adaptation, not because they pay us to be mentioned.
  • Silence about a real problem. If an operator we have a commercial relationship with loses a license, faces enforcement action, or is the subject of credible player-harm reporting, we will write about it. The commercial relationship does not create a veto over editorial coverage. An operator cannot pay us to look the other way.

How Commercial Relationships Are Handled Internally

The editor makes editorial decisions. Commercial agreements are managed separately and do not determine what is covered, how it is covered, or whether a given operator is named in a piece. If a commercial partner is the subject of a critical analysis, the analysis runs. The commercial side of the desk does not get to review, soften, or kill it.

This is not a claim of moral purity; it is a description of how the desk is structured. The structure exists because it produces better coverage, and because a desk that lets commercial partners dictate editorial content is not worth reading.

What We Do Not Do

We do not accept paid placements dressed as editorial analysis. We do not publish “sponsored reviews” that are written by operators or their agencies. We do not allow operators to review drafts of our coverage before publication. We do not receive payment to suppress, edit, or delay a story. If any of that ever changes, this page will change first, and visibly.

The analysis we publish is free to read regardless of whether you use our links. Nothing on the site requires you to click through to an operator for the coverage to make sense.
