Contact the Desk

How To Reach The Desk

The desk reads all email sent to [email protected]. That is the single point of contact for editorial matters, corrections, licensing questions, and reader feedback. There is no phone number and no physical reception; the desk is a small editorial operation and email is the reliable channel.

What We Welcome

The following kinds of messages are useful and will be read:

  • Corrections — If you believe a factual error appears in a published piece, tell us. Ideally, include the URL, the specific claim you believe is wrong, and a source that supports the correction. We take correction requests seriously and respond to them. The Correction Policy page describes the process in more detail.
  • Tips and story leads — If you work in the industry — for an operator, a regulator, a game studio, or a compliance firm — and you are aware of a regional adaptation story, a licensing change, or a design trend that we have not covered, we want to hear about it. On-the-record or on-background, your choice.
  • Licensing questions — If you are unsure about the licensing status of an operator we have referenced, or if you believe we have misstated a jurisdiction, write in. We will check and, if necessary, correct the record.
  • Feedback on coverage — If a piece is unclear, misses context, or could be better, say so. Specific criticism is more useful than general praise or general complaint.

What We Cannot Help With

The desk is not a customer-support channel for any gambling operator. If you have a dispute with an operator — a withheld withdrawal, a closed account, a bonus dispute, a responsible-gambling failure — we cannot resolve it for you, and we will not act as an intermediary with the operator’s support team. That is not because we do not care; it is because we are not the right channel and intervening would not help you.

What you should do instead:

  • Contact the operator’s support team directly — through the channels the operator provides. Document the exchange.
  • Escalate to the operator’s regulator — if the operator is licensed by the UKGC, MGA, or another recognized body, the regulator will have a complaints process. Use it.
  • Use the Complaints page on this site — if your dispute relates to an operator we have covered, you can tell us about it. We will not resolve it, but we may use it to inform future coverage. The Complaints page explains what we do and do not do with that information.

Response Time

The desk aims to respond to substantive email — corrections, licensing questions, and specific feedback — within five working days. General comments may take longer. If you have not heard back after two weeks, it is reasonable to send a single follow-up. Multiple follow-ups in a short window do not speed up a response.

Press And Industry Enquiries

If you are a journalist, a regulator, or an industry source and you want to speak with Miles Martin directly, email the desk address above and mark the subject line accordingly. Interview requests and on-background conversations are handled through the same address.
